Basketball Recap: Nickerson Takes a Loss

Nickerson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the St. John Tigers, falling 60-31. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Nickerson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. John, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Nickerson by a score of 60-31 later that day.
