Football Recap: Faith Lutheran Takes a Loss

Faith Lutheran was the 14-13 winner over Sunrise Mountain when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Faith Lutheran Crusaders lost 35-12 to the Sunrise Mountain Miners on Friday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Faith Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Sunrise Mountain, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Faith Lutheran has already played their next contest (against Cimarron-Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sunrise Mountain will face off against Legacy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunrise Mountain's defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so Legacy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
