Nelson and Sheldon squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Nelson had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Irish. Nelson's loss signaled the end of their 18-game winning streak.

Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Sheldon, they pushed their record up to 27-4 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home.

Nelson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Medford on the 8th. As for Sheldon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Sprague on the 7th.
