St. Cloud saw some tournament action on Friday. They put the hurt on the Jensen Beach Falcons with a sharp 75-53 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

St. Cloud's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malaki Baker, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points and four blocks. Baker is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted four or more in the last three games he's played. Josiah Cotto was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points along with six steals and five boards.

St. Cloud smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive games.

Jensen Beach lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cordell Wilkins, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Alexander, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 17 points.

St. Cloud's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Jensen Beach, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

St. Cloud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-31 win against Lyman on the 4th. As for Jensen Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 56-50 victory against New Smyrna Beach on the 4th.
