After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dobyns-Bennett, Daniel Boone was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lebanon Pioneers by a score of 7-4. The Trailblazers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

Daniel Boone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was T J Leonard, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Braydon Norton was another, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Daniel Boone has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Lebanon, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Daniel Boone will be playing at home against David Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Lebanon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Shelby Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
