Baseball Recap: Hydro-Eakly Has No Trouble Against Hammon

Hammon typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Hydro-Eakly proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Warriors. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Hydro-Eakly is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.7 runs. As for Hammon, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Hydro-Eakly and Hammon should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Bobcats (ranked 131st) will meet Hinton (ranked 268th) at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hammon will square off against Mountain View-Gotebo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (62 vs. 205).
