Football Recap: Wabash Apaches vs. Rochester Zebras
Wabash kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Rochester Zebras, falling 42-0. The Apaches haven't had much luck with the Zebras recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Haiden Mcwhirt threw for 89 yards on 11 of 20 attempts.
Davon Osborn was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards. On the ground,
Noah Baldwin rushed for 29 yards.
Brant Beck had a dynamite game for Rochester, rushing for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Beck got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible58 yards. Zakkary Parks got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Wabash will take on Alexandria-Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rochester, they will face off against Tippecanoe Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
