If Chaparral wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Regis Jesuit, they should've done a better job of containing Luke Rubley. The Raiders simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Wolverines 41-9 thanks in part to Rubley, who threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. His passing game has become a key predictor of Regis Jesuit's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Regis Jesuit's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Ian Marshall was the leader with two.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Regis Jesuit, racking up 17 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Logan Singer, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

The victory got Regis Jesuit back to even at 3-3. As for Chaparral, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Regis Jesuit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-17 defeat against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 9th. As for Chaparral, they have also already played their next matchup, a 50-7 loss against Legend on the 10th.
