Softball Recap: Delaware Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Montgomery on Thursday, Delaware Valley came back down to earth. The Terriers fell 5-2 to the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders on Saturday. If the Terriers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Raiders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Delaware Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Delaware Valley will take on Robbinsville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Terriers are on a five-game streak of home wins, the Ravens a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they will face off against Governor Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
