Baseball Recap: Boca Raton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Boca Raton had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Flanagan Falcons get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Monday.

The result came thanks to Greyson Muncrief's shutout, as he gave up just four hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Boca Raton is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-12 otherwise.

At the plate, Boca Raton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Zidar, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Zidar a new career-high.

Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Flanagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Coming up, Boca Raton will square off against ABF Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flanagan, they will face off against King's Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games King's Academy has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
