Basketball Recap: Vancleave Comes Up Short

Vancleave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 43-29 to the Stone Tomcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-27 back in January.

Vancleave's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Stone, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 9-16 record.

Vancleave does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stone, they will square off against East Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stone has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
