Recap: Archbishop Bergan Knights vs. Scotus Shamrocks
After a string of six wins, the Archbishop Bergan Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 46-39 to Scotus. Archbishop Bergan has not had much luck with Scotus recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Archbishop Bergan still got an impressive performance from Summer Bojanski, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bojanski has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Schmidt, who scored nine points.
Archbishop Bergan's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Scotus, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Archbishop Bergan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Concordia at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Concordia is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. Scotus will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aquinas on February 1st.
