Basketball Recap: Clover's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Clover extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Devin Agard. The Clover Blue Eagles came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-67 W against the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes thanks to Agard, who went 11-for-15 en route to 26 points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jayden Garcia, who posted five points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Dutch Fork lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bryson Taylor, who put up 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justus Bell, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds.

Clover's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Dutch Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

Looking ahead, Clover will challenge Blythewood at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Blythewood likes a good challenge. Dutch Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
