Meanwhile, Newark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-28 loss at the hands of Hinckley-Big Rock. The Norsemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.

Hiawatha's loss dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Newark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-23.
