Basketball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View lost against Hidalgo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Valley View Tigers fell 56-43 to the Hidalgo Pirates. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Hidalgo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley View will head out to square off against Port Isabel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hidalgo, they are taking a road trip to challenge Jubilee Brownsville at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
