Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northview). They beat the Union Red Hawks by a goal, winning 3-2. The win was all the more spectacular given Northview's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 301st, while Union are ranked 41st).

The victory snapped Northview's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-10 record. As for Union, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will host Reeths-Puffer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Union, they will face off against West Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
