Preview: Follett Panthers vs. River Road Wildcats
The Follett Panthers will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the River Road Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. on December 7th. Follett will be strutting in after a win while River Road will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Follett didn't have too much trouble with Booker on the road as they won 50-36.
Follett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reyna Rosales out in front who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Rosales has scored at least 25% of Follett's points. Gabriella Barton was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, River Road's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to Boys Ranch. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for River Road in their matchups with Boys Ranch: they've now lost four in a row.
The win got Follett back to even at 5-5. As for River Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
