Basketball Recap: Peoria Wins High-Profile Contest Against Metamora

On Tuesday, Peoria faced Metamora in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Peoria Lions came out on top against the Metamora Redbirds by a score of 55-42. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Metamora, their loss ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-4.
