Baseball Recap: Hoover Vikings vs. Louisville Leopards
Hoover had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 14-11 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Louisville Leopards, sneaking past 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jack Andes was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Hoover is 7-3 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-8 otherwise. Andes was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
