Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short on the Road Against Gateway

Lincoln had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 4-0 to the Gateway Olympians. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Olympians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will be playing at home against Skyview at 5:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Gateway, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Thomas Jefferson on the 7th.
