The St. Elizabeth Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Indian River Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Elizabeth focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Saturday.

St. Elizabeth is leaving town to face Indian River after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. St. Elizabeth lost to Archmere Academy at home by a 39-21 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Auks: they've now lost nine in a row.

Although St. Elizabeth took the loss, they still got scores from Cole Andrews, Terrence Williams, and Jose Maldonado.

Meanwhile, while Indian River put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for DuPont. Indian River blew past DuPont 54-0 at home. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 47 point advantage.

Dylan Grise was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards.

Indian River's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Davon Handy, Bryan Irvin, and Weston Werner picked up one apiece. Handy also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
