Jordan Mcnees tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits she has allowed over her last 11 contests.

Wakeland's record now sits at 10-3. As for Newman Smith, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Newman Smith's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wakeland hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .363. It's a different story for Newman Smith, though, as they've only averaged .135. Will they be able to contain Wakeland's hitters?
