Basketball Recap: Micah Morgan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Riverside Christian over Sunnyside Christian

Riverside Christian lost against Sunnyside Christian back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Riverside Christian Crusaders took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunnyside Christian Knights.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Morgan, who went 6-for-15 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Micah Rivera, who went 5-for-6 on his way to 13 points.

Riverside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Sunnyside Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Riverside Christian nor Sunnyside Christian have any future games scheduled.
