Basketball Recap: Sierra Vista takes loss despite strong performances from David Orozco and Aaron Buna

Basketball Recap: Sierra Vista Dons vs. Nogales Nobles
If the Sierra Vista Dons were feeling good off their 57-37 takedown of the Azusa Aztecs last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Sierra Vista fell 53-46 to the Nobles on Friday. Sierra Vista was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nobles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Aaron Buna and David Orozco certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Buna scored 20 points along with two steals, while Orozco scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Buna hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Sierra Vista's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10. As for Nogales, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-13.
Sierra Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nogales also has no future games currently scheduled.
