Baseball Recap: Pigeon Forge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eagleton College & Career Academy on Monday, Pigeon Forge came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals on Wednesday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

Pigeon Forge dropped their record down to 13-8-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their record is now 13-11-1.

Coming up, Pigeon Forge will head out to take on Farragut at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will welcome Campbell County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
