Basketball Recap: Pearl City Takes a Loss

Pearl City suffered their biggest defeat since February 21st on Thursday. They were beaten by the Pecatonica Indians 76-38. The matchup marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pearl City's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pecatonica, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Pearl City will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stockton at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Pecatonica, they will square off against West Carroll at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Pecatonica is facing West Carroll at the right time seeing as West Carroll is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
