Softball Recap: Beaverhead County Wins High-Profile Game Against Stevensville

Beaverhead County faced Stevensville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Beavers blew past the Yellowjackets 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Adyson Creighton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Creighton was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Kylie Konen was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Tyler Gibson was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Beaverhead County's record now sits at 7-2. As for Stevensville, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Beaverhead County will take on Butte Central Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stevensville, they will challenge Frenchtown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
