Somers had to settle for second on Thursday, but Emily Boyle sure wasn't going down easily. Boyle tossed two innings while giving up just two earned runs but no hits, which was good enough to set a new career-low in hits.

The last time Boyle took on the Huguenots, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk).
