Basketball Game Preview: Fargo South Bruins vs. Sheyenne Mustangs

The Fargo South Bruins will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Sheyenne Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fargo South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Sheyenne likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Fargo South came up short against Horace and fell 93-82.

Meanwhile, Sheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 87-80 to West Fargo. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (65), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Fargo South's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Sheyenne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Fargo South ended up a good deal behind Sheyenne in their previous meeting back in March, losing 68-52. Can Fargo South avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
