Volleyball Game Preview: South Elgin Storm vs. Rolling Meadows Mustangs

The South Elgin Storm will face off against the Rolling Meadows Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Elgin is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, South Elgin came up short against Wheaton North and fell 2-0.

While South Elgin ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows was able to grind out a solid victory over Elk Grove on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Rolling Meadows not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Elk Grove between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18.

Rolling Meadows' win bumped their record up to 17-18. As for South Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 23-11.

South Elgin was able to grind out a solid victory over Rolling Meadows in their previous matchup on October 4th, winning 2-0. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
