Basketball Recap: Riverton Comes Up Short on the Road Against Cottonwood + How To Watch

Riverton had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Cottonwood Colts by a score of 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Silverwolves have suffered since January 3rd.

When it comes to explaining why Riverton lost, don't look at Beckam Rees. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. Cohen Allred was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Malei Atem was nothing short of spectacular for Cottonwood: he dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave Atem a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luka Cecez, who posted eight points and seven blocks.
