Porter Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dennis Kurucu , who scored 12 points. The match was Kurucu 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Garrett Cox was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Porter Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Charlotte Latin, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
