Basketball Recap: Zikeem Dozer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Chavez

Kennedy hadn't done well against Chavez recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Kennedy Thunderbirds blew past the Chavez Titans 55-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Kennedy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zikeem Dozer, who went 7 of 12 to rack up 19 points. Dozer continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Yoshi Tanaka was another key player, going 6 for 8 en route to 14 points.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.
