For the first time in his career, Derek McKean scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 21 yards and one TD, helping propel South Adams past Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian by a score of 49-6. We judged Friday's game McKean's most productive, but we don't think it'll stay that way for long.

Coming up, McKean and South Adams will face off against Adams Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Starfires have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since September of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
