Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Prep Comes Up Short at Home Against Kellenberg Memorial

St. Francis Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds on Thursday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was CJ Galanga, who had ten digs and two aces.

Kellenberg Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. John the Baptist on the 31st. Hopefully St. Francis Prep payed attention to the Firebirds' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Firebirds at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
