Softball Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss

Marquette's last matchup with Lisbon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Defenders came up short against the Lions, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 on Tuesday.

Marquette's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lisbon, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Marquette wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-2 loss against Denver on the 29th. As for Lisbon, they have also already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against North Linn on the 29th.
