The Palmetto Mustangs will face off against the Mountain View Prep Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmetto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Palmetto came up short against Blue Ridge and fell 7-3.

Ella Kate Fowler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Landry Woodson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Mountain View Prep fell victim to Woodruff and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (2-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Mountain View Prep's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-11. As for Palmetto, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 8-11.

Palmetto took their victory against Mountain View Prep when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Stars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
