Bourne waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Seekonk Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bourne took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-10.

Bourne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Morrill, who had ten digs and three aces. Morrill is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Morrill wasn't the only good servers: Bourne was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 16 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Bourne's record is now 12-1. As for Seekonk, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bourne will face off against Duxbury at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seekonk, they will square off against Monomoy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
