Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Lynbrook

There's no place like home for Lynbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wilcox Chargers on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Lynbrook might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wilcox scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 14-25, 27-25, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Caroline Feng, who had nine digs and three aces. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Wilcox still got an impressive performance from Sienna Spencer, who had 23 digs and six assists. Spencer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Lynbrook pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Wilcox, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Lynbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Cupertino on the 6th. As for Wilcox, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Gunn on the 6th.
