International High School at Langley Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oxon Hill Clippers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bladensburg of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-6, 25-1.
Ashley Fru had a dynamite game for Oxon Hill, getting 14 aces and 15 assists. That's the most aces Fru has posted since back in September.
