Softball Recap: California Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for California's offense. They came up short against the Yough Cougars on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

California's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Yough, their record now sits at 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. California will face off against West Greene at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Yough, they will challenge Penn Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.47 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
