Football Recap: Tallulah Academy Piles Up the Points Against Riverdale Academy + How To Watch

Tallulah Academy faced Riverdale Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trojans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rebels 58-0. Considering the Trojans have won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tallulah Academy was led to victory by Shepard Morgan and Aiden Harris Harris. Morgan gained 99 total yards, while Harris Harris threw for 104 yards and three touchdowns.

Tallulah Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 248 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Tallulah Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Riverdale Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Tallulah Academy will square off against Briarfield Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Riverdale Academy, they will face off against Union Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
