In what's become a running theme this season, Encina Prep gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Foresthill on the road to the tune of 77-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Encina Prep has posted since December 8, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Encina Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sergio De La Cruz, who scored 26 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points De La Cruz has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Phillip Worsham, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals.
Sacramento Waldorf can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning 47-33.
Encina Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Sacramento Waldorf, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
Encina Prep strolled past Sacramento Waldorf in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 62-47. Will Encina Prep repeat their success, or does Sacramento Waldorf have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
