Soccer Game Preview: Browne vs. Cesar Chavez

The Browne Bruins will venture away from home to take on the Cesar Chavez Champions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Browne is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Shadow Ridge on Friday. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 2-1.

Browne's goal came courtesy of Lorelie Tavizon, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Cesar Chavez entered their tilt with Maryvale on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1.

Browne has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season. As for Cesar Chavez, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Browne came up short against Cesar Chavez when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Browne avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
