Baseball Recap: Kenowa Hills Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kenowa Hills came out on top against Lowell on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Knights took their match against the Red Arrows 11-7. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.

Mason Peebles made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs.

In other batting news, Alex Menzel was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Parker Roerig also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Kenowa Hills' win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for Lowell, they moved to 8-3-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kenowa Hills beat the Red Arrows by a score of 4-0 later that day.
