Soccer Game Preview: Shelley vs. Skyline

The Shelley Russets will head out to take on the Skyline Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shelley's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, Shelley didn't have quite enough to beat Idaho Falls and fell 3-2.

Miguel Chavez and Tristan Howell scored both of the Russets' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, Skyline kept a clean sheet against Hillcrest on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Knights 1-0.

Skyline is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-3 record this season. As for Shelley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.
