Evanston hadn't done well against Glenbrook North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildkits sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Wildkits: when they faced off against the Spartans back in April, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Evanston had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Glenbrook North still got an impressive performance from Jaiden Han, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Evanston's win bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Glenbrook North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.

Evanston has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Grayslake North on the 16th. As for Glenbrook North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against New Trier on the 20th.
