Arroyo won the last time they faced Rosemead and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 58-46.

When it comes to explaining why Rosemead lost, don't look at JaRon Phan. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-16 on his way to 25 points along with seven boards and four steals. The Panthers are 3-1 when Phan posts 15 or more points, but 8-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhys Anderson, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Arroyo's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Rosemead, they moved to 11-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arroyo will face off against Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rosemead, they will take on Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.82 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
