Softball Recap: Draughn Comes Up Short

Draughn lost against Owen last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats lost 11-1 to the Warhorses. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cydnee Deal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Draughn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Owen, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Draughn is set to face off against their familiar foe Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Owen will challenge rival Mitchell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
