South Salem put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the West Salem Titans. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 9-2 win on Wednesday.

Ben Hennan looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Sawyer Nelson was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Noah Scharer was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

South Salem kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April.

South Salem's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-0. As for West Salem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Salem will challenge Mountainside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Salem, they will take on South Medford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
